Supported Living
Our direct support professionals are designed to provide medical and non-medical support, and assist with the everyday activities of daily living, to individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities in their homes.
Semi-Independent Living
Assisting individuals who can live independently with minimal support.
Personal Care Assistance
We offer personalized assistance with daily activities, ensuring the comfort and well-being of our clients.
Respite
Respite services provide temporary relief for primary caregivers by offering care for individuals with disabilities or special needs.
Community Participation Supports
Helping individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities engage in community activities, such as volunteer opportunities, recreational programs, or social events.
Intermittent Employment & Community Integration Wrap-Around Supports
These services provide flexible, individualized support for employment and community integration, including job coaching and skills training.
Individual Transportation
Individual and customized transportation services help individuals with physical disabilities travel safely and reliably to work, medical appointments, social events, or educational programs.
Employment Community First (ECF)
ECF is a comprehensive program that helps individuals with intellectual disabilities find and maintain employment while integrating into the community.
CHOICES - multiple services
The CHOICES program provides older adults (age 65 and older) & adults with physical disabilities (age 21 and older) who are eligible for needed long-term services and supports in the home/community setting or in a nursing facility.
DCS (Department of Children's Services)
GCS has been contracted by DCS to deliver comprehensve support services to children. The overall goal is to enhance the well-being and development of vulnerable children through a range of tailored services.
Our Fundamental Services Principles
Guy Care Services uses the following fundamental service principles to guide service delivery for persons with disabilities and youth.
Flexible and stable service systems which promote advocacy, effective communication, targeted outcomes, continuous evaluation, and improvement based upon best practices and research.
Early identification of needs, including prevention and early intervention services and supports.
Timely response to the needs, rights, and desires of those served.
Treating service recipients and their families with dignity and respect.
Protecting those served from abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
Good stewardship and accurate, responsible accountability for the use of public resources.
Ongoing education and support for skills development of employees.
Cultural competence of persons providing services.
Guy Care Services will not participate in research studies.
